Minnesota High Tech Association and the Science Museum of Minnesota team up to found Minnesota Science and Technology Hall of Fame

Created for and inspired by heroes in the realms of science and technology, the Minnesota Science and Technology Hall of Fame honors Minnesotans whose achievements in science and technology have made a lasting impact not only to the state of Minnesota, but globally as well.

“For nearly a decade the Minnesota High Tech Association has honored the state’s technology and innovation leaders through the Tekne Awards,” said Kate Rubin, president of MHTA. “We’re excited to team with the Science Museum of Minnesota to use the Tekne tradition as the foundation for honoring the best of the best in Minnesota science and technology.”

"The Minnesota Science and Technology Hall of Fame provides the perfect opportunity to introduce Minnesotans to some important science contributions that have happened close to home," says Dr. Eric J. Jolly, president of the Science Museum of Minnesota. "These are the kinds of achievements that make us proud, inspire us, and advance our quality of life in Minnesota. We're so pleased to join MHTA in recognizing them."
